On January 16th, 2024, Ed Craft resigned as mayor so he could serve on the borough council. There was a special borough council meeting held February 27th, 2024, where the Vacancy Board meet to discuss the position of mayor. Mark Dellett was appointed mayor as the outcome of the meeting.
