DESCRIPTION:The New Florence Volunteer Fire Department announced the Chili Cookoff on January 27th has been cancelled.  They did not have enough participants sign up for the event. \n \nChase Oaks of the New Florence VFD provided updated flyers for the Chili Cookoff.  They’ve changed some things.  Chili can be cooked at home as long as the rules are followed as posted in the flyer.  The time was also changed to allow people who can’t show up in the morning but can make the afternoon.  Pre-Registry will be available during and after the 5k race all the way to January 10th. After January 10th you cannot enter the contest.  Money for entry will be paid at the door.
