DESCRIPTION:At the Historical Society meeting on 15 January 2020\, it was decided that we will change the name of our society to the Laurel Valley Area Historical Society (LVAHS) to be more inclusive to the entire area we intend to cover. Our original intent was to represent the entire former Laurel Valley School District but thought using “New Florence Area” was more appropriate.
