Boring lost the battle with COVID-19. We are in a state of disbelief and shock.  As much as this has rocked us\, please keep Keith’s family in your thoughts and prayers as they grieve their incredible loss of husband\, father\, and grandfather.  May the Good Lord wrap his comforting arms around our community that Keith served for many\, many years.  We would like to thank our neighboring fire departments for their unwavering support.  When arrangements are finalized by Keith’s family\, with their permission\, we will post them here.\n\n\n\nGodspeed Chief\, until we meet again on the top floor\, we’ll handle it from here my friend.\n\n\nThe fundraiser will be rescheduled to a later date.\nPlease see the flyer below for information on this fundraiser. DESCRIPTION:The borough council meets monthly on the third Tuesday of each month at the borough building located at 119 Franklin Street in New Florence at 6:30 p.m.  However\, because of the COVID-19 virus and the need for social distancing the 2021 meetings will be held in the basement of the old yellow school until further notice.  The meetings are open to the public and all are encouraged to attend.
